This year’s Women Deliver conference takes place in Kuala Lumpur from 28-30 May and is one of the largest global meetings focusing on the health and well-being of girls and women with more than 5,000 participants from Ministries of Health, Finance and Development Cooperation, Parliaments, leading civil society organizations, global companies, media and others. Overriding themes for this year include: Investing in Girls and Women, Reducing Unmet Need for Contraception and Looking to 2015 and Beyond.
The International HIV/AIDS Alliance, together with some of its linking organisations, will be at Women Deliver to profile the need for integration between HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)/Maternal Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) programming. If you’re unable to attend Women Deliver in person, it’s still possible for journalists to apply for virtual registration free of charge which gives access to relevant conference materials in the lead-up to and during the event. Virtual registrants will also have the opportunity to participate in global teleconferences and watch live webcasts of select high-level sessions.
